While walking through Chefchaouen, it’s easy to keep your eyes fixed on the blue doors at eye level, but I somehow found myself looking up toward the rooftops. I stopped in my tracks when I saw this wall where the harsh afternoon sun was cutting a sharp shadow across the white plaster. There was something so beautifully honest about the heavy, patterned blanket and the colorful laundry drying in the breeze, framed by satellite dishes against an impossibly deep, clear sky.
