Description
Hiking up toward the Spanish Mosque, I paused to look back at the medina and spotted this woman, getting ready to shoot her own photo of Chefchaouen. The blue-washed houses of the mountain village were tumbling down the mountainside, catching the soft, late-afternoon light. When that lady stopped and stood still on the crest of the hill, totally absorbed in capturing the vastness below, it felt like the perfect distillation of the journey.
